United Methodist Presence at the Chautauqua Institution

There are four United Methodist establishments on the grounds at Chautauqua:

• The United Methodist House
• Hurlbut Memorial Community United Methodist Church, a year-round congregation serving the residents of Chautauqua and the surrounding area
• The United Methodist Missionary Vacation Home on the lake, which provides summer accommodations
• Fenton Memorial Deaconess Home, on Hawthorn Avenue, which provides summer accommodation for deaconesses and others

In addition, we are connected to the two successor Annual Conferences which cover the area of the Annual Conference in which the United Methodist House was founded:

• Upper New York (where we currently reside)
• Western Pennsylvania
