Hurlbut has been a year-round Methodist presence in Chautauqua for over a century, and its Senior Pastor is an ex officio member of the UM House Board of Trustees. The pastor often leads a Bible Study in the House during the summers.
Visitors to the United Methodist House are welcome to worship at Hurlbut at 8:30am during the summer and at 10:45am during the retreat season.
During the summer, you can visit Hurlbut's Truesdale Hall for lunch Monday–Friday and dinner on Thursday. Proceeds from the Meal Ministry go toward Hurlbut's outreach programs, including their United Methodist Shared Ministries contributions. For more details, head to their website.
